Welcome Letter by the MSKMUN Director

Dear Advisors, Chairs, Delegates and Staff Members,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome all of you to the MSKMUN Conference, a conference for delegates of all skill levels and MUN experience, providing
opportunities for all students to advance their knowledge, develop their critical thinking, and improve their public speaking skills.
My name is Foteini Karra, I have been a state school English teacher for the past 20 years and this is my third year as the MSKMUN director.
Our MUN started some years ago under the guidance of Mrs Doropoulou with the participation of just a handful of students from the 1 st Middle School of Kifisia and over the past 6 years it has grown to accommodate delegates from schools both from Greece and abroad.
The executive team, Anna Ioannou, Anna Papacharisi, Adamantia Lora and Dimitris Thanos, is comprised of capable and experienced people who are willing to go that extra mile to ensure that every attendee is comfortable and confident, and provide opportunities for all delegates to have their voices heard during the ground-breaking debates taking place at our MUN.
Next year’s conference will take place at the premises of the 1 st Middle School from 7-10 March 2024. We look forward to welcoming back old friends-delegates and greeting many new ones.
